Charity event this Friday 14th Sept from 5:30 - 7:30 pm

Warm welcome to a gallery event with LIVE music photographs from professional press photographer, Christer Hedberg, all taken in Gothenburg, Sweden under 2012.

From superstars like Bruce Springsteen, Alice Cooper to Blur, Laleh, First Aid Kit and more ... to local star artists like Jamie Meyer (facebook status says he will be attending) and even small punk gigs with wild atmosphere, beer casting and general chaos ... Christer has been to them all!

There are few photographers whom are allowed to get so close to the action and on occasion he has even been invited on stage ... up close and personal with the artist. Christer can be found lying underneath drum kits and is known to have quite a shoe fetish ,,, Hmnnn

All photographs will be available to purchase with the proceeds going to the Cancer Charity based in the Långatan area close to the shop.

Special thanks to our acoustic panel partner Akustiktryck for printing the photos free of charge and of course to Christer for releasing them free to the lucky buyer. All photos are printed large scale, 90 cm wide.

My first impression of LINN's NEW Akubarik's

Firstly I am all in favour of compact systems so for me it's a great advantage that they are fully active. Technical information you can get from the designer on the following video link http://vimeo.com/search?q=akubarik I can pick a few points about the design. I don't like blue lights ... I'd hoped it would be smaller to fit more of my customers that have smaller rooms and apartments with neighbours. But actualythey look great, very tidy indeed. A good start and very interesting but how do they perform? The obvious reference systems are Akurate 242 Aktiv with LINN Akurate amps or Klimax 350A's reference speakers. Straight off the Akurate 242's can't compete on the bottom end. The Akubariks deliver controlled base no matter the volume. Whether the 3k array performs better than on aktive 242, I don't know but it's probably quite similar. It is very good. It's all very good and well balanced. Det var länge sen vi besökt LINN fabriken och Jag tycker att det är snart dags!
