*INFORMATION UPDATE* for Maeve O'Boyle 'LIVE' this Thursday @ P&S

To everyone that has emailed me and confirmed their attendance for this Thursdays special evening with Maeve O'Boyle, I extend a personal warm welcome and thanks in advance for your support. I am really looking forward to a great evening!
 
Doors open 7pm. Musik starts 7:30pm.

The price is now confirmed for the concert and is 200 kr per person. (The entrance fee is going straight to the costs, Maeve, PA system, refreshments).  
Please put the fee in an envelope, write your name on it and put it in our 'honesty box' which will be at the door. 
If you prefer you can give it to either myself or Maeve on the night but again please use an envelope.
We will provide beer, wine and some soft drinks however if you wish to bring your own wine that's fine as long as it's not red ... nice carpets! 
No spirits please just in case anyone gets 'too enthusiastic'!

Bring some extra cash (no cards) if you wish to buy Maeve's new album which will be on a limited edition signed 8gb USB (no sharing please) with 24 Bit studio copy, CD & MP3 with a the film made live from the studio & some other material.
As I understand it Ryan MacDowell (support) will also be selling his EP.

Till alla som har mailade mig och bekräftat sitt deltagande för torsdagens unika spelning med Maeve O'Boyle, vill jag personligen varmt välkomna och tacka i förväg för ert stöd. Jag ser verkligen fram emot den här kvällen! Kommer bli riktigt bra!
  
Dörrar öppnar KL: 19:00. Spelingen börjar Kl:19:30.

Priset är nu bekräftat för konserten och är 200 kr per person. (Inträdesavgiften går direkt till kostnaderna, Maeve, PA-system, förfriskningar).
Vänligen lägg avgiften i ett kuvert, skriva ditt namn på den och lägga den i vår "ärlighet box" som kommer att vara vid dörren.
Om du vill kan du ge kuvertet till antingen mig eller Maeve men lägg då pengarna i ett kuvert.
Vi kommer att servera öl, vin och alkoholfritt men om du vill få ditt eget vin som är bra så länge det inte är rött … mattorna ogillar rött vin:)

Ta med lite extra pengar (ej kort) om du vill köpa Maeves nya album som kommer att vara på en begränsad upplaga på ett 8GB USB (ingen delning tack) 
med 24 bitars studio kopia, gjorda för CD & MP3 och en film live från studion och lite annat extramaterial.

Som jag förstår det kommer även Ryan MacDowell  (for-band) kommer också att sälja sin EP.

My first impression of LINN's NEW Akubarik's

Firstly I am all in favour of compact systems so for me it's a great advantage that they are fully active. Technical information you can get from the designer on the following video link http://vimeo.com/search?q=akubarik I can pick a few points about the design. I don't like blue lights ... I'd hoped it would be smaller to fit more of my customers that have smaller rooms and apartments with neighbours. But actualythey look great, very tidy indeed. A good start and very interesting but how do they perform? The obvious reference systems are Akurate 242 Aktiv with LINN Akurate amps or Klimax 350A's reference speakers. Straight off the Akurate 242's can't compete on the bottom end. The Akubariks deliver controlled base no matter the volume. Whether the 3k array performs better than on aktive 242, I don't know but it's probably quite similar. It is very good. It's all very good and well balanced.
