Several years ago I took a number of visitors to the LINN factory, like I have done many enjoyable times in my time as an independent LINN retailer. On this occasion however, I heard about something I hadn't even thought could be possible, something not physically possible so I didn't even have it on my wish list. That's what is so fun with LINN, they are thinking up and tend to achieve ridiculous solutions, you thought were impossible.

After an always intriguing tour of the factory floor with several personal accounts of LINN's unique development and manufacturing we then enjoyed a curry with Gilad Teifenbrun, the managing director and Son of Ivor Teifenbrun (the founder) before visiting the demonstration rooms. This was pre 'The Linn Home' but nonetheless a great experience with a top of the line Akurate 5:1 cinema system in one dem room and an external Aktiv Klimax 350 system /with Klimax Twins) in the other.

After the compulsory ''best I have ever heard'' experience', which I am now accustomed to when I visit LINN, we sat down with a few LINN Engineers whom had been brought down to answer any questions we had.

Questions went back and forth and as always my customers were asking about the future and any exciting development information available. Clues were given which later became obvious after product releases but one very strong comment came up ... I'll call it a commitment, from LINN!

LINN had a goal that I had heard before but now sounded more like something actually achievable', a milestone they were looking for, rather than just some futuristic dream. It was a 'real' goal and from experience I could tell they meant business ... this would become reality.

Comparatively recently, with LINN Exakt, we for the first time had this delivered. In my own showroom I have LINN speakers, large freestanding Exakt Akubarik, placed just a few centimeters from the back wall and they sound amazing.
