I apologise to the following artists whom never got into my Top 10. First I'd say that it may not be a reflection on your album but rather that the albums I have chosen
1. meant allot to me at special periods in my life that I was open to new influences.
2. After a conversation yesterday, I realise it's not just albums that meant allot at a particular time but albums that I have consistently and will again come back to.
It could also be that my taste in music is crap or that your album, though widely acclaimed or I wouldn't mention it at all, was ... laugh
Lets get started ... this could take time.
A.
'ACDC'. O'm mannnnn ... I'm sorry. You are fantastic and so are your albums. My only excuse is as a teenager I just didn't get it or the people that did, whom were an unfortunite misserable small group where I was brough up. I get it now ....
'All About Eve'. O'h 'Marthas Harbour'
'Arctic Monkeys' ,,, In my opinion they are holding up UK music ... How good were they at the Olympic ceremony ... I love this Youtube clipp
B:
'Bruce Springsteen'. Maeve O'Boyle would be angry with me if She knew I'd left you out.
'Big Country' ... Scottish heroes ... How could I?
'Beyonce', you might not think I was a fan but I am big time. Must be one of the best performers that has ever lived on this planet. If you are an aspiring 'Idol' or 'X-factor' then you know what you are aiming for - a talent so great it's not of this world! Bionce you are amazing!!
'Beautiful South' - I may have to reconsider this one. Consistent song writing of this caliber is just not normal, it shouldn't be possible. There are so many great songs, where do you start? I love this song ...
The Big Dish, Did they ever play live? In my teens I literally hammered them .. played them to death! In the days before I seen the light with 'Deacon Blue' (I hated them at first & I mean hated), The Big Dish were my refuge.

Beautiful South Woman In The Wall Lyrics
Songwriters: HEATON, PAUL / ROTHERAY, DAVE
He was just a social drinker but social every night
He enjoyed a pint or two or three or four
She was just a silent thinker, silent every night
He'd enjoy the thought of killing her before
Well he was very rarely drunk but very rarely sober
And he didn't think the problem was his drink
But he only knew his problem when he knocked her over
And when the rotting flesh began to stink
Cry freedom for the woman in the wall
Cry freedom for she has no voice at all
I hear her cry all day, all night
I hear her voice from deep within the wall He enjoyed a pint or two or three or four
