Linn has won an astonishing 7 prizes in the 2016 WEKA Product of the Year Awards. These represent the votes of over 33,000 readers of German publications Audio and Stereoplay. In the Stereoplay ‘Complete Systems’ category, Linn took home the gold medal for a set-up comprising an  Akurate DSM ,  Akurate Exaktbox  and  Majik Isobarik loudspeakers. Individual honours were also given to the  Ekos SE  tonearm,  Klimax DSM ,  Akurate DSM ,  Majik DSM  and  Majik DS alongside Linn’s latest compact and customisable system,  Series 5 . Thanks to everyone who voted for their favourite Linn products.

I installed the new LINN Krystal pick-up (with Akurate LP12) yesterday ... truly fantastic ... it sat in the groove perfectly and brought up a huge amount of information and presented a well balanced performance from some of the great vinyl we played.  ''A big investment at 15,950 Sek but it's an absolute bargain at that price ''  I don't have an Akiva and comparative analog LINN system on dem to compare properly A vs B, but with Krystal on an Akurate LP12, together with Exakt Akubarik system (KDSM/Exakt) I don't think there is much doubt it beats the Akiva reference LP12 on analog Akubarik (Analog Klimax DSM) I  demonstrated last year.

** Borås newspaper liked our 'AUDIO EXPERIMENT' so much they put it on a front page and with 2 full sides inside ** Last summer, together with Peter Tolebjär, who I first met as a LINN customer, I started work on an Attefallshus (25m2). No parallel walls for great acoustics. The idea of the tapering wall I got from another customers apartment (Svante) whom has Klimax 350's in a small space where you wouldn't expect them to work but perform amazingly.  T he enormous 4m high windows came about 10 weeks ago and Peter has been busy finishing the house, though this house will never be finished - but rather we will continuously experiment with it.  Just now it is a music studio (completely hidden) and listening room with 5 beds (almost hidden), great size kitchen and large bathroom.  This one has a shingle finish, reflective (grey tint) triple glass, KNX system for lighting and smart heating system, which will hardly be used as it has PIR insulation which is not on...
